One of the big problems with pet adoption is that many do not fully understand the responsibilities involved and often animals end up back in shelters. We aimed to employ technology as a means to help preventing pets from being returned and keep Austin's no kill ratio above its target - 95%.

Collaborate with Android development students and provide the UX/UI for one of their applications. This was my second assignment, completed in General Assembly's ten week immersive course.
The Solution
We ultimately shipped a product that enabled users to complete the checkout process in only twelve screens. Walgreens leadership feedback praised its streamlined nature and they also liked that it was accessible and very on-brand.

Socialights uses both the Google Maps A.P.I. and Facebook's event feed to map events that you and friends are attending or interested in. Then it generates a map in real time to help you find them.
